The shelves were easy to mount and appear to be sturdy. I did have some rubbing of the shelf edge on the planner table when I folded it up, and as others have stated the outfeed shelf cannot fold all the way up because it hits the exhaust port, but overall I would recommend these as a good addition to the planner. They helped reduce the depth of the snipe.

Must have for the Dewalt 735 planer. Easy to set up. Due to dust port location the back table does not fold all the way up.

The tables are both identical for either side of the planer. Assembly was very easy with only a few parts that get screwed onto the tables.there are two pins on each side that get screwed in, one set has a spring that gives the pins a plunger action for a quick install or removal of the tables.
The tables are have steel construction and chrome plated for long life, mine both came pre-set so the outer ends are a little above level to help prevent 'snipe'.
Each table does have an adjustment for setting the levelness of each surface.

Their is two Cons for these tables and one is that they should have come with the planer in the first place, and the second is the tables fold up but they dont lock in the upright position! but any creative person can make something that works to bypass that problem.

The pros is that the tables are very well constructed and look really great and match the chrome surface of the planer base under the rollers plus they greatly reduce the 'snipe' problem faced by all portable planers.

I found this product very useful. I use to have the older series dewalt planner that had them built in. The one these go on is a much better planner. It is even better now that I have these wings on it. It has virtually no skipe. If you have the planner. You need these wings.

Worth the money

Still a small amount of snipe with these but easily worth the money you spend. Go on and off quickly and a breeze to install initially. Infeed will fold up, outfeed will not(on mine). I never bother. Just push in the pin and you're on your way.
